becoming the best version of yourself

& breaking free from what no longer serves you. We help men and women having challenges with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and trauma who are unsure of who they are; go through the process of self-discovery so that they can become the most authentic version of their true selves.

Together we can uncover the blocks that may be preventing you from living a life of authenticity, deep emotional healing & personal growth. We believe in a holistic approach and tuning inward with awareness and compassion.

Our approach includes self compassion work, inner child work, breaking generational patterns, lack of self worth, setting boundaries and turning inward to gain greater clarity & deep emotional healing.

Jazmyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate currently under the supervision of Erin James, M.A. LPC-S. Jazmyn earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Prairie View A&M University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern Methodist University.

Jazmyn has a passion for working with individuals across the lifespan experiencing stress, life transitions, behavioral issues, trauma, anxiety, and depression. She also enjoys working with children and adolescents by creating a fun, developmentally appropriate space for self-expression.

In her approach, Jazmyn believes in focusing on the client’s needs and figuring out what has been working, but more importantly, what has not. She enjoys helping the client increase their knowledge and awareness of ineffective patterns and replacing them by implementing more positive patterns in their routines. In addition, providing the client with a safe environment enabling growth and self-confidence is important to her.

Since the start of her career, she has worked heavily with the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ community and conducted research on minority self-esteem, gender differences in internalized behaviors, and colligate substance use. She has volunteered with individuals across the lifespan instilling encouragement and hope for them to continue on this journey called life.

Jazmyn believes she is a true Texas girl at heart! She loves to spend time with her family and friends finding different activities around the DFW area. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, trying new restaurants, listening to podcasts, and reading fun facts about various topics.
